Qatar Airways has announced a partnership with the UEFA Champions League, extending until 2030.<\/p>\n
The deal strengthens the airline’s presence in European football, building on its previous sponsorships of UEFA EURO 2020 and UEFA EURO 2024.<\/p>\n
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said the partnership aligns with the airline’s vision of fostering unity and celebrating excellence.<\/p>\n
“As the Official Airline Partner of the UEFA Champions League, Qatar Airways is dedicated to transporting thousands of fans to this esteemed competition,” Mr Al-Meer said.<\/p>\n
The agreement includes sponsorship rights to the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League and UEFA Futsal Champions League.<\/p>\n
UEFA President Aleksander \u010ceferin welcomed the expanded partnership, citing a shared commitment to providing exceptional experiences for football fans worldwide.<\/p>\n
The airline will offer UEFA Champions League fans discounts of up to 12 per cent on light fares and exclusive ticket promotions through its Privilege Club.<\/p>\n
Qatar Airways launched a campaign video featuring football legends Ricardo Kaka and Rio Ferdinand to celebrate the announcement.<\/p>\n
The partnership adds to Qatar Airways’ extensive sports sponsorship portfolio, which includes FIFA, AFC, and various football clubs and sports events globally.<\/p>\n
