Eve Air Mobility has chosen Embraer-CAE Training Services to provide training for its electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft program.<\/p>\n
The agreement covers training for pilots, maintenance technicians and ground handling personnel as part of Eve’s TechCare service portfolio.<\/p>\n
Eve Vice President of Customer Services Luiz Mauad said the partnership would ensure safe operations.<\/p>\n
“This partnership not only underscores our commitment to safety and operational excellence but also equips our and operators’ teams with the necessary skills to offer outstanding customer service,” Mauad said.<\/p>\n
The joint venture between Embraer and CAE, formed in 2007, operates nine full-flight simulators globally.<\/p>\n
CAE’s Division President Alexandre Prevost highlighted safety as crucial for advanced air mobility adoption.<\/p>\n
“CAE continues to make significant investments in AAM to deliver innovative and immersive products and training solutions that are specifically tailored to the industry and today’s learners,” Prevost said.<\/p>\n
Eve has secured letters of intent for 2,900 eVTOL aircraft from 30 customers across 13 countries, potentially worth US$14.5 billion.<\/p>\n
The aircraft features eight rotors for vertical flight and fixed wings for cruising, powered by dual electric motors.<\/p>\n
The program leverages Embraer’s 55-year aircraft manufacturing experience and global support network.<\/p>\n
The training services venture recently launched its first E2 full-flight simulator in Asia, with more simulators planned for 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
